2015 Detroit Auto Show: DENSO to Exhibit at the 2015 North American International Auto Show
Tokyo, Jan 7, 2015; Global automotive supplier DENSO is exhibiting at the 2015 North American International Auto Show, held at Cobo Center in Detroit, Jan. 12-25. DENSO is showcasing products and technologies in the areas of safety and environment.
In the area of safety, DENSO will showcase its vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2X) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) technologies with a vehicle simulator. This experience allows consumers to understand the safety and convenience benefits of this revolutionary technology - like driving around a blind corner or communicating with a personal mobile device to prevent pedestrian accidents.
In the environment area, DENSO will display its newly developed standardized air conditioning (HVAC) unit, which is smaller and more efficient than previous models. In North America, this will be the first time for DENSO to exhibit this new unit. DENSO will also show its vision of the future through a Smart City display. This miniature diorama of an intelligent future city, which is connected with the vehicle to improve energy management, will be on a looping projection-mapped animation system. About Denso
