Nissan reports August 2014 sales for Europe

ROLLE SWITZERLAND -- Sept. 8, 2014: Nissan announced today European sales for August of 37,579 units, representing a market share of 3.8 percent.
August highlights:
- Market share up 0.6 percent on August 2013.
- Best-selling Nissan models for the month were the crossovers Qashqai and JUKE.
- Russia and UK top selling markets.
- Nissan in Italy is the number one Asian brand in August for the second consecutive month with a market share of 3.7 percent.
- Market share in France is 3.5 percent, the second best ever market share for August.
- LEAF sales in August is 1,200 units across the region. See table below.
