New Master Distributor - And New Opportunities - For Airstream In Europe

BERLIN – Feb 11, 2014: Airstream Inc. has announced the appointment of its German dealer, ROKA Werk, as its new master distributor for Europe.

Based in Limburg, Germany, ROKA has specialised in Airstream travel trailers for seven years and in its new role has been tasked with developing Airstream’s fast-growing European customer base and building a network of dealerships across the continent.

ROKA’s Managing Director, Armin Heun, revealed Belgium, France, Netherlands, and the greater Scandinavian countries would be first on the list of targets for new dealerships in 2014. His team is also working closely with Airstream’s Italian and British dealers to formulate a strategic marketing plan that will raise awareness of the iconic Airstream brand and product across Europe.

Airstream Inc’s President and CEO, Bob Wheeler, said he was “extremely excited” about ROKA Werk’s appointment – and about Airstream’s continued development outside America. “We have ambitious growth plans for Europe and ROKA’s passion and enthusiasm for the Airstream brand, lifestyle, and product will certainly fuel that growth," he said.

Armin Heun added: "ROKA's core strengths are sales, marketing and service and this is a fantastic opportunity to use this expertise to reach out to a broader Airstream audience. We are already pursuing a variety of new caravan exhibitions in key markets which we hope will generate new legions of Airstream enthusiasts as well as qualified dealers and we would like to hear from anyone interested in a dealership opportunity."

Beyond its iconic caravans, Airstream Inc is also eager to establish a European presence for it's motorised Interstate model, which has been developed on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis.
