Holden Offers Best Ever Captiva Range Value
MELBOURNE – Jan 21, 2014: Holden has launched the new Model Year 14 Captiva range with the introduction of a number of updates and a reduction in the recommended retail price across all models, strengthening Captiva’s position as one of the most versatile and best-value SUV offerings in the market.
With a $2,500 reduction in the recommended retail price across Australia’s best-selling 7-seater SUV range, model year 14 Captiva 7 now starts from just $29,990.
Captiva 5 also benefits from a price reduction of up to $2,000, with the range now starting from just $25,990.
Captiva 7 trim levels have also been renamed, with SX, CX and LX becoming LS, LT and LTZ respectively.
In addition to the sharp revised pricing, the best-selling Captiva 7 receives a host of styling changes including a redesigned front fascia and grille. Rear styling has also been updated with a new rear fascia that features redesigned chrome exhaust tips and a new LED tail lamp design.
Both Captiva 7 LT and LTZ receive new integrated side steps while the LT receives new 18-inch alloy wheels.
Driver convenience is enhanced on all Captiva 7 models with the introduction of sensor key technology with passive entry and start as a standard feature.
Captiva 5 welcomes the addition of chrome exterior door handles on the LTZ and a new 18-inch wheel design for the LT model.
Holden Executive Director, Sales, Marketing and Aftersales, Philip Brook said Captiva had been one of Australia’s best-selling SUV nameplates over the past seven years.
“Since its first full year of sales in 2007, Holden has sold over 100,000 Captivas and in 2013 Captiva 7 was the best-selling seven-seater in Australia,” Mr Brook said.
“Customers tell us it’s a combination of great features and styling at a competitive price point that makes Captiva such a compelling choice.
“And we are committed to driving new car buyers into the popular range by offering great value through strong retail pricing and HoldenWise capped price service guarantees.
“As with all of Holden’s recent new car launches, we’ve really sharpened our pencil on the new Captiva pricing, so we can continue to offer great value to SUV buyers. With price reductions across the range, we believe Captiva will remain high on the shopping lists of Australian families.”
Holden Captiva is already recognised for its value, receiving a 2013 Wheels Gold Star value award in the 7 seater SUV under $60,000 category.
Model Year 14 Captiva range is available in Holden dealers now.
