Toyota - Buh Bye Down Under?

Auto Central December 11, 2013; Toyota has confirmed Holden's decision to end local production will put "unprecedented pressure on the local supplier network and our ability to build cars in Australia."
The company stopped short of saying they would follow in the footsteps of Ford and Holden but acknowledged "We will now work with our suppliers, key stakeholders and the government to determine our next steps and whether we can continue operating as the sole vehicle manufacturer in Australia."
Toyota went on to say they were saddened by Holden's decision but will continue their operations as planned for the time being.
