Katy Perry to perform at Infiniti Brand Festival in China

BEIJING / HONG KONG – Dec 11, 2013: Infiniti announced that U.S. singer, songwriter and actress, Katy Perry, will perform as a special guest at the 2014 Infiniti China Brand Festival in Beijing. Several thousand guests are expected at the Beijing indoor Olympic Stadium on Saturday, January 11, to participate in one of the biggest brand galas ever held in China.

Visitors will be able to experience spectacular entertainment along with innovation, emotion and information about the Infiniti brand and products in China, culminating in Katy Perry’s first ever performance in China where she is expected to perform hit songs such as “Roar,” “Teenage Dream” and “Firework.”

China is a key market in Infiniti’s growth strategy. Starting next year, Infiniti will produce two vehicles locally in China at the Xiangyang plant in Hubei Province. These vehicles – long wheelbase versions of the popular QX50 Crossover and the all-new Q50 Sports Sedan – were designed specifically with Chinese customers in mind. There are currently more than 60 Infiniti dealers in China and this expected to grow by around one third by the end of 2014.

As one of the most celebrated contemporary pop singers in the world, Katy Perry won multiple global awards thanks to her many highly acclaimed hit singles. In 2012, Katy Perry won Billboard’s Spotlight Award and the American Music Award’s Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist, bringing her to a new peak in her music career.
