GEICO Earns Top Honors

WASHINGTON--Decmber 14, 2013: When it comes to mobile business, GEICO is the leader of the pack in the auto insurance industry. The company has garnered the highest overall score in Forrester Research’s November 2013 report, 2013 U.S. Mobile Insurance Functionality Rankings. GEICO stood out in multiple categories, earning perfect scores for mobile quotations, and policy information and management. GEICO also registered top scores for the variety of mobile devices supported and its mobile service features.

Forrester’s report measured the effectiveness of mobile offerings of several leading U.S. private passenger auto insurers at meeting the needs of auto insurance customers. The findings were based on 26 individual criteria in research conducted in August and September 2013.

GEICO was the only insurance company in the Forrester evaluation to place significantly above minimum standards for mobile insurance functionality. The perfect score in policy information and management categories led Forrester to proclaim GEICO as “The pocket auto insurer.”
