Jaguar Heritage Racing Wins World Luxury Award For Outstanding Creative Work With CNN
WHITLEY, UNITED KINGDOM – Dec 10, 2013: Jaguar Heritage Racing collects another trophy this month with the World Luxury Award Gold prize awarded to the team behind the global television and online coverage of the company’s inaugural heritage racing season in 2012.
The World Luxury Awards, held in Monte Carlo, announced the winners of the biggest award for creativity in the global luxury sector, recognising the very best work of marketing, advertising, design, public relations and multimedia in the industry. Jaguar Heritage Racing reigned victorious against stiff competition in the Cars & Yachts awards category, beating shortlisted Porsche and Riva to the coveted Gold prize.
At the heart of the Jaguar Heritage Racing dedicated website from CNN are a series of evocative films that capture the unique emotion around Jaguar in historic motorsport. The films include Mille Miglia – “Fear and Exhilaration: The Drivers’ Story”; the Nürburgring – “Green Hell: The Drivers’ Story”, “Proving Ground for Performance”; and Goodwood Revival – “Historic Winning Streak Continues” and “Jaguar: The Design Legacy”. The films also appeared alongside frequent reports and results from the Jaguar Heritage Racing events across the CNN global network, which is viewed in more than 255 million households and hotel rooms across the world, while CNN.com where the dedicated website is hosted, receives over a billion page views per month.
Overall, ten First Prize World Luxury Award Golden Trophies were presented in Monte Carlo to entrants from 16 countries, with the Jaguar Heritage Racing coverage on CNN International, brokered by long-standing Jaguar public relations agency Influence Associates, recognised for its website and broadcast creativity. The Awards celebrate the contribution that innovative creative work makes to building luxury brands.
