SYDNEY – Nov 19, 2013: The brand new $5.0 million Audi Centre Wollongong on Corrimal Street was officially opened on 21 November 2013.

The stunning 1000 square metre glass and aluminium-clad Audi ‘terminal’ showroom is the latest regional facility to open in Australia, showcasing Audi’s exceptional new product.

Audi Centre Wollongong was developed by long-term Audi partner, and locally-based dealer principal, John Volcanovski. Volcanovski has been an Audi dealer for 16 years.

The stunning new Wollongong showroom offers a ground floor display area for 12 new vehicles, along with a customer café, and mezzanine-level business lounge with WIFI, as well as parking for customers and demonstrator vehicles.

A five-hoist Audi-exclusive service facility is located at the facility in Corrimal Street and offers exceptional service to Audi owners in the area.

Dealer Principal, John Volcanovski, said the new showroom would be a fitting representation for Audi, citing the German luxury brand’s continuous success in Australia over the past nine years as one of the key reasons for the decision to invest in the new development in Wollongong.

“The team at Audi Centre Wollongong is committed to the growth of the brand here. We now offer the best facilities and people in the luxury car market and our main focus will be on offering the best-possible service for our customers,” Mr Volcanovski said.

Audi Australia’s managing director, Andrew Doyle, says Audi is extremely pleased to see such a statement facility open in Wollongong.

“This project, along with many others which are under construction around the country, represents Audi’s growing strength in Australia. It is part of our strategic development plan to prepare our facilities for the expansion of the Audi model range in the next few years,” Mr Doyle said.

Construction of the new Audi Centre Wollongong began in November 2012 and was completed in August 2013. The Audi team moved into its brand new home in September 2013.

The official opening event will take place on 21 November 2013, and is set to keep the town talking with around 275 people attending. A live performance by Diesel will be the highlight of the event.
