Matthew Bendall In Seoul Until December
LONDON – Oct 16, 2013: Matthew Bendall, Senior Press Officer at Kia Motors (UK) Limited will be “offline” for the next six weeks as he takes part in Kia’s Global Exchange Programme by working at the company’s Seoul head office until the start of December.
Every autumn a selection of Kia personnel from around the world travel to Seoul to experience the company’s head office operations and to contribute to Kia’s global affairs as well as picking up valuable exposure to the corporate culture and understanding of the company’s activities.
Matthew Bendall, Senior Press Officer said: “You’d perhaps expect me to say the clichéd ‘I am looking forward to the opportunity’ – but I truly am! I’ll be working in the Global Overseas Communications Team whilst in Seoul and I look forward to being able to offer the UK media an even better insight into Kia’s operations when I return at the start of December.”
Stephen Kitson, Director of Corporate Communications said: “This is a great opportunity for Matt and also for both sides of the Kia PR family – an effective exchange of practices, understandings and processes will undoubtedly enhance our UK operation and can only help our colleagues in Seoul to better understand media pressures around the world.”
Matthew will return to the UK Press Office on Tuesday 3 December. He will have occasional access to his usual email account whilst abroad but for all routine or urgent enquiries please contact one of the team on the details below.
