Renault unveils improved Koleos Phase 3 SUV Range

SYDNEY – Oct 10, 2013: The Renault Koleos is one of the most popular models in the Renault family in Australia, with its sales up 97% year to date.

Universally acclaimed for delivering travelling comfort, extensive equipment package and all-terrain ability, the Koleos is now available in Phase 3 guise, boasting the new Renault Brand identity on its front mask.

The Renault Koleos Phase 3 is the second model offered in Australia with this new look, after the launch in September of the new Clio light hatch.

The Renault Koleos Phase 3 make-over provides a range of additional equipment throughout the range, as well as a new lower entry price for the range.

For a limited time, the Koleos Phase 3 drive-away price is $27,990 for the Expression, 4x2 manual transmission model.

Further Phase 3 improvements include a new design alloy wheels, a chrome finish on side protective strips, a new body colour, ‘Metallic Brown’, new interior trims and the option of brown leather upholstery, a new radio interface and a new 7-inch touchscreen navigation system with multimedia functions, new Blind Spot Warning (BSW) function, and a reversing camera combined with rear parking sensors.

The proven 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel enjoys a welcome increase in power of 17 kW to produce a maximum of 127 kW.

The specification changes in detail by model are:
Expression models gain an alarm, lockable glove box, and deadlocking, new radio interface, new wheel design and new seat trims as well as access to the new ‘Metallic Brown’ exterior colour scheme.

The new drive-away price for the Renault Koleos Phase 3 Expression manual petrol model is $27,990 for a limited time, after which it reverts to the Manufacturer’s List price of $27,490, plus on road and dealer charges.

At $27,490, the Expression 4x2 petrol manual is $1000 less than the vehicle it replaces, while the Expression CVT Auto has a Manufacturer’s List Price of $30,490, also $1000 less than the Phase 2 model.

Stepping up to the Bose models adds a touchscreen integrated satellite navigation system, illuminated vanity mirrors in the sun visors, front parking sensors, new 2-tone 17-inch alloy wheel design, Blind Spot Warning, Keyless Start and electro chrome interior mirror. A rear view camera is available as an option.

Manufacturer’s List Pricing for the Bose variants is $35,490 for the CVT 4x2 petrol, $38,990 for the CVT 4x4 petrol and $40,490 for the automatic transmission 4x4 diesel with the newly enhanced output engine.

For the top-of-the-range Privilege version, the improvements build on the additions to the Expression and Bose variants and include a rear parking camera, new 2-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, electrically adjustable passenger seat and optional brown interior and brown leather upholstery, or optional brown interior with beige leather upholstery.

The Manufacturer’s List price for the Renault Koleos Phase 3 Privilege CVT 4X4 Petrol is $ 44,740, while the Privilege CVT 4X4 Diesel is now $ 46,240.
