Honda Introduces Capped Price with Adaptive Servicing
TULLAMARINE, AUSTRALIA – Oct 2, 2013: Honda Australia’s new Capped Price with Adaptive servicing program will be rolled out nationally in all Honda dealerships from 1 October 2013.
“We are pleased to offer Capped Price Servicing to our customers for the first time. We are committed to providing our customers with choice, value for money and the very best after-sales service in the market,” said Honda Australia Director Mr. Stephen Collins.
Capped Price servicing involves a set of servicing tasks for eligible Honda vehicles (as outlined in the Maintenance Schedule section of the customer’s Owner’s Warranty and Service Manual) when driven under ‘normal’ driving conditions. These items now have a set maximum price – although Dealers may chose to charge less – providing customers with peace of mind and value for money. It applies to servicing for the first five years or 100,000 kilometres, whichever comes first.
Honda has also introduced ‘Adaptive’ servicing, which supplements the prescribed Maintenance Schedule and includes items such as dust and pollen filters, air filters or brake fluid. Simply put, the benefit of Adaptive servicing is that items are replaced or attended to exactly when required. Customers who travel low kilometers will pay less than customers who travel high kilometres, reducing the overall cost of ownership and impact on the environment. The Adaptive items are not optional and must be attended to at the prescribed age of the vehicle and/or the kilometres travelled as indicated on the odometer.
Honda’s Adaptive method means that items are replaced or attended to exactly when it’s required, reducing the cost of ownership and waste.
Capped Price with Adaptive servicing is retrospective for the following
Honda vehicles sold before and after the system’s introduction (on 1
