Chevy's Texas-Built SUVs Big Sellers in Lone Star State

September 27, 2013: The Chevrolet Tahoe accounted for 30 percent, or three of 10, full-size SUVs sold in Texas so far this year and its larger Suburban sibling accounted for 15 percent of full-size SUV sales in the Lone Star State year to date. Combined, the two trucks account for nearly one in two full-size SUV sales in Texas. Houston is the No. 1 market nationally for Tahoe and Suburban and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in No. 2. The popularity of the trucks is second only to their familiarity - every one is built at the Arlington Assembly Plant.
