Pennsylvania State Police to Host Three-Day Seminar for Crash Investigators

Free Training Gives Investigators Insight into Causes of Vehicle Collisions

HARRISBURG, PA--Sept. 23, 2013: The Pennsylvania State Police will host more than 200 crash investigators from around the United States and Canada for the 13th Annual Collision Reconstruction Seminar. The conference will take place Sept. 24-26, in State College, Centre County.

"The goal of this seminar is to provide the most up-to-date information on investigative procedures and the newest technology offered to those in the field of collision reconstruction," Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan said. "The seminar will not only provide instruction on specific topics by experts in the field, it provides face-to-face discussions on how other people approach reconstructing a crash."

This seminar is provided free of charge to attendees and is funded by a grant from AAA Mid-Atlantic, the Mid-Atlantic Foundation for Safety and Education and the AAA Mid-Atlantic Insurance Group.

Several national experts in the field of crash reconstruction will speak on collision-related topics, and three live collisions with be staged in conjunction with the University of Tulsa Crash Consortium.
