Philip Brook Appointed Holden Executive Director – Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing
SYDNEY – Sept 19, 2013: Holden has today announced that Philip Brook will be appointed Executive Director, Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing, effective 1 October 2013.
In addition to his current role managing the Holden sales & marketing teams, Mr Brook will assume additional responsibility for Holden Service Parts Operations (HSPO), the Customer Satisfaction and Service Retention Team and also Holden New Zealand.
Holden Managing Director, Mike Devereux said Mr Brook’s expertise placed Holden in a strong position to strengthen Holden’s entire sales, customer service and marketing efforts.
“Phil is one of the most experienced executives in the Australian Automotive Industry and I am confident that he will drive Holden to great success in the coming months and years.” said Mike Devereux.
Mr Brook joined Holden as a Marketing Manager in 2004, following a sales and marketing career with Nissan and Honda. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Monash University and a Masters of Marketing from Melbourne Business School.
In 2007 he was appointed to the position of Director - Holden Marketing, where he oversaw Holden's advertising, marketing and customer retention strategies. In 2011 he became Director of Sales, where he was responsible for all sales, network development and distribution initiatives, working very closely with the Holden Dealer Network.
In late 2012, Phil was appointed to the role of Executive Director – Sales & Marketing and during that time he has led the national dealer network, introduced the new “Think Holden” brand campaign and successfully launched Holden’s largest ever product portfolio.
