Ryder to Be Premier Sponsor of Automotive Logistics Global Conference

MIAMI--September 18, 2013: Ryder System, Inc. , a leader in commercial transportation and supply chain management solutions, today announced it will be the premier sponsor of the 14th annual Automotive Logistics Global Conference, taking place September 24-26, 2013, at the MGM Grand in Detroit, Mich. On Wednesday, September 25, Jeff Kosloski, Ryder Group Director for Automotive Logistics, will be on a panel in workshop 3B - New North America Networks, which will discuss the effects of near-shoring and the development of manufacturing in Mexico on the supply chain. Additionally, Steve Dean, Ryder’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Supply Chain Solutions, will be presenting at the event’s gala dinner.

The two-day conference is a valuable meeting place for OEMs, tier suppliers, and logistics service providers of all types, offering networking, discussions, and learning in a business/social environment. Conference sessions will explore various topics such as: near-shoring and the development of manufacturing in Mexico, information technology’s effects on automotive logistics, and lean practices driving high quality and low cost. Along with expert presentations and interactive Q&A sessions, the conference will provide attendees with multiple opportunities to meet and do business.
