LONDON – Sept 11, 2013: This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Midland Game Fair and Great Wall will be at Weston Park in Shropshire to celebrate this premier event (Saturday 14 to Sunday 15 September) with its latest range of high-specification, unbeatable-value pick-ups.

The Midland Game Fair, which is the must-do event for all country sports enthusiasts, will play host to the final in the Great Wall Motor World Series Clay Shooting and Gundog Championships, where winners in each competition will pick up the keys to a new Steed Chrome or Steed Tracker.

Great Wall, part of the International Motors group, will display a range of Steed models – the entry-level Steed S, the luxury SE, and the new Steed Chrome and Tracker. Three Great Wall dealerships from around the country will be supporting the event (Randells in Staffordshire, Furrows of Shrewsbury and Cheshire-based TWG) and will be on hand to answer any questions and co-ordinate test drives.

Prospective customers have been invited to drive on the dedicated off-road track at the Fair to test the Steed’s advanced and dependable transmission and drivetrain systems, and a team of highly experienced Great Wall drivers will be on hand to offer passenger rides as well.

Competing for the attention of attendees will be the latest additions to the Steed range. The Steed Chrome has been designed to excel as a working vehicle and with a host of interior and exterior styling upgrades it boasts real visual impact, too. Featuring a 2.5-tonne towing capacity and a payload of 1,050 kg, it also has a number of unique chrome add-ons, tinted glass, metallic paint and carpet floor mats.

The more rugged Steed Tracker is a dedicated workhorse, with additional features including special fit General Grabber All-Terrain tyres, an over-rail bedliner, a towbar with audible reversing monitor, front and rear mud flaps, metallic paint and rubber floor mats.

All Great Wall’s vehicles benefit from the ‘Great Wall Promise’, which includes an industry-leading six-year / 125,000 mile warranty, inflation-proof servicing plans, free pick-up and drop-off, a six-year anti-perforation warranty, three-year paint warranty and roadside assistance.

In addition to the Great Wall-sponsored activities the concluding Countryman Fair event of the year is home to many key events from the shooting community, including the European Field Target Championships together with industry showcases such as Gunmakers Row and Airgun Expo.

Visitors can also expect to see medieval jousters the Knights of Middle England, the Tigers Free Fall Parachute Display Team, the Mid Wales Axe Team, heavy horses, falconers, ferret racing, game and coarse fishing demonstrations and the Countryman’s Weekly Champion of Champions in the Terrier and Lurcher events.

With music, fine arts and rural crafts displays, plus over 600 stands for every conceivable countryside need, and have-a-go features to boot, it’s no wonder the Midland Game Fair is one of the most celebrated and highly anticipated outdoor events of the year, offering a fantastic day out for all of the family.
