Infiniti Announces Management Change in Australia
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA – Sept 6, 2013: Infiniti Cars Australia General Manager Kevin Snell has decided to leave the company by the end of September.
Snell has been a driving force behind Infiniti’s Australian market entry and has led the brand for the past three years starting from its launch. He will leave the company on 30 September to establish his own independent business operation outside the automotive industry.
Andrei Zaitzev, National Manager of Sales for Infiniti Cars Australia, will assume Snell’s responsibility on an interim basis in addition to his sales-related duties.
Johan de Nysschen, President of Infiniti Motor Company, Ltd, praised Snell for his results in Australia.
“Kevin has successfully laid the groundwork for Infiniti in Australia. I am grateful for his strong contributions and wish him well in his new endeavours,” he said.
Infiniti was launched in Australia at the start of September last year. The premium car maker’s extensive market entry program has delivered Australian new-car buyers a refreshing alternative and, one year later, the company is underway with the next stage of its local market growth plans.
Chief amongst the first milestones for this new phase will be the arrival of the keenly awaited Infiniti Q50, the brand’s newest luxury sports sedan, soon to be released locally and anticipated to be the brand’s best-selling model.
