The Dynamic New Audi A4 and A5 Sport Editions

AUSTRALIA, ZETLAND – Aug 5, 2013: Audi Australia has announced the arrival of two special limited edition models. The dynamic A4 and A5 Sport Editions offer discerning buyers special value, including larger alloys wheels, sporty touches inside and out, along with an impressive list of additional features.

Special upgrades exclusive to the Sport Editions include:

19-inch 5-segment-spoke alloy wheels

MMI Navigation plus (including 20 GB media storage, DVD player and two SDHC memory card slots)

Xenon plus headlights with LED rear lights (only on A4 sedan, already standard equipment on A5 models)

Sports suspension

Sports front seats

Flat-bottom steering wheel with paddles

Premium metallic or pearl effect paint (Lava Grey, Ice Silver, Phantom Black, Glacier White, Monsoon Grey or Moonlight Blue)

The additional equipment listed above adds to the already impressive list of standard features on these models:

The A4 and A5 Sport Editions are available with either the 1.8 TFSI or 2.0 TDI powerplants. Both four-cylinder engines deliver impressive performance and fuel efficiency, as expected of an Audi. The multitronic continuously variable transmission delivers power to the front wheels for both engines.

The 1.8 TFSI engine produces 125kW and 320Nm, which is enough to propel the A4 sedan to 100km/h from rest in 8.3 seconds. Fuel consumption for this model is an outstanding 5.8 litres per 100km, the best economy in its class.

With 130kW and 380Nm, the 2.0 TDI engine delivers sporty performance. Reaching 100km/h from a standstill in 7.9 seconds, the A4 sedan model also returns frugal fuel efficiency of 4.8 litres per 100km.

The A4 Sport Edition is only available in the sedan bodystyle, and includes over $9,000 of additional value. The A5 Sport Edition is available in all three body styles: Coupe, Cabriolet and Sportback. Additional value for the A5 Sport Edition ranges from $8,000 to over $10,000.
