Ford Appoints New Marketing, Sales & Service Vice President for Australia
MELBOURNE – Aug 2, 2013: Ford Australia has appointed Graeme Whickman to the position of Vice President Marketing, Sales & Service, effective September 1 2013. Graeme replaces Brad Brownell who is repatriating to the United States to take up the position of General Manager East Market Region.
Whickman will lead all areas of Ford’s marketing, sales and service operations in Australia, including responsibility for revitalising the Ford brand and customer experience.
“During his time in Australia, Brad has been instrumental in establishing a number of new customer relationship processes and working very closely with our dealers to improve the Ford brand. We wish him all the best for his challenging new role in the US,” said Ford Australia President & CEO Bob Graziano.

Whickman is currently vice president of sales at Ford Motor Company Canada, Limited, with responsibility for sales operations, sales planning and production, fleet operations, dealer franchise management and dealer operations. He is proud to be part of the team which has achieved sales leadership for the last three years. Immediately prior to this role, he was vice president of marketing at Ford of Canada, where he headed all marketing efforts, including product marketing, digital, sponsorship, experiential marketing and marketing communications.
Before Canada, Whickman served as Executive Director Marketing in Asia Pacific and Africa, leading several innovative marketing initiatives in both mature and emerging markets such as Africa, China, Thailand, and the United Kingdom, and was part of the Asia Pacific team during a significant period of Ford growth in Asia. He joined Ford Motor Company as Marketing Manager in New Zealand in 1997.
