GEICO announces plans to hire 200 new associates in Tucson; also named 'Top Company to Work For'

TUCSON, AZ--July 9, 2013: Are you ready to build a rewarding career? Look no further. GEICO's growing Tucson regional office is seeking qualified applicants for more than 200 new positions by the end of the year. The hires will include associates launching careers in sales, customer service, claims service and liability claims.

GEICO's Tucson office opened for business in 2003 with fewer than 50 associates. Today, the regional office employs more than 1,200 associates with sales, customer service, underwriting and claims responsibilities in seven states. The Tucson office was recently recognized by CareerBuilder as a Top Company to Work for in Arizona in 2013.

GEICO offers a Supervisor Leadership Program designed to put college seniors and graduates on a fast-track to management. The selective leadership program develops future business and team leaders. Candidates for this management training program are required to have a bachelor's degree in a business related field, or significant business coursework, demonstrated leadership skills, as well as an overall GPA of 3.2 or higher.
