ELK CITY, Okla. July 8, 2013; NACSonline.com reported that an Oklahoma retailer is bringing the public up to speed on the advantages of natural gas. “Drive by the Hutch's Convenience Store and Gas Station, located off interstate exit 20, on a week day morning, and you will likely notice all four CNG pumps being used,” writes Laura Eastes in the Daily Elk Citian.

The pumps for compressed natural gas are actively in use by fleets and more consumers switching their vehicles to CNG or purchasing a CNG-powered vehicle. Kurtis Hutchinson, of Hutchinson Oil Co. and Hutch's Convenience Store told the newspaper that use continues to grow each month.

"There hasn't been a month in the past year and a half, where use has not increased. It is growing,” he said, adding that more pumps are needed to serve the increasing amount of companies converting their fleets from gas to CNG, as well as drivers converting their personal vehicles as well.

Hutch’s is the only retailer in Elk City offering CNG for public use, notes the newspaper.
