The New Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet - Pricing Announced

MULGRAVE, AUSTRALIA – July 3, 2013: Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific has announced pricing and specifications for the new E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet models. These new variants for the Australian market succeed in uniting superior comfort and high quality equipment with a strikingly sporty panache.

The entry level E 200 Coupé and Cabriolet are fitted with a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. Both vehicles deliver a maximum output of 135kW and 300Nm of torque, and consume just 6.0 and 6.5 L/100km respectively.

The striking E 250 Coupé and Cabriolet deliver a maximum output of 155kW and an increased 40Nm over previous models. The E 250 CDI Coupé produces 500Nm of torque from the 2-stage turbocharged diesel engine, while producing an outstanding fuel consumption of just 4.7L/100km (combined).

Harnessing the new 6-cylinder bi-turbo engine, the E 400 Coupé and Cabriolet offer dynamic driving experiences, producing 245kW and 480Nm of torque to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 5.2 seconds in the Coupé model, and 5.3 seconds in the Cabriolet.

A host of exceptional standard features on the E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet including Active Park Assist, 19” Wheels, PARKTRONIC, KEYLESS-GO, THERMATIC automatic climate control, LED Intelligent Light System and AIRSCARF neck-level heating system (Cabriolet).

In addition, the E 400 Coupé and Cabriolet models will incorporate a Harman Kardon® Logic 7® surround sound system and 360° camera.

The E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet will also arrive with exceptional safety features as standard including DISTRONIC PLUS with Steering Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, PRE-SAFE® Brake with Active Pedestrian Protection, PRE-SAFE® PLUS and BAS PLUS with Junction Assist.

The new E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet and will be on sale in Australia starting in July 2013. Coupé model sale prices will be as follows:

E 200: $79,900 (MRLP)

E 250: $96,400 (MRLP)

E 250 CDI: $98,900 (MRLP)

E 400: $128,900 (MRLP)

Cabriolet model sale prices will be as follows:

E 200: $88,900 (MRLP)

E 250: $106,400 (MRLP)
