CATERHAM – June 21, 2013: The limited edition ‘40 Years of Caterham’ pack has sold out less than a month after it was announced, following huge interest from UK and overseas customers.

The stylish pack was commissioned by Caterham Cars to celebrate its 40 years of manufacturing and developing the iconic Caterham Seven. In a limited run, the pack was available at no extra cost to the first 40 Seven buyers from May 9th 2013.

Along with a unique, limited edition plaque, the celebratory pack included ruby red ‘40YOC’ paint with bespoke bonnet stripes, hand-tailored leather seats, dashboard and interior, a custom made key machined from aluminium and new 15” silver alloy wheels.

The first of the ‘40YOC’ Sevens are already in production, with first orders due to be delivered to customers in July, just in time for a summer of driving pleasure.

Meanwhile, new customers buying a Seven in component form can still benefit from Caterham’s partnership with workshop tools specialist, Draper Tools. An existing Caterham Motorsport partner, Draper has created a bespoke toolkit, designed specifically to tackle the job of assembling a Seven.

Announced on June 4th, the first 40 customers will receive the specially-designed toolkit worth over £800 free of charge, when they purchase a Seven in component form*.

Caterham’s current UK range of Sevens stretches from the Roadsport 125 at £19,995 to the top-of-the-range Superlight R500, priced at £42,495. Meanwhile, across mainland Europe, Caterham has just introduced its most powerful variant yet, the Seven 485 priced from €43,495 ex. VAT.
