Brown Trucking Company Selects Comdata
Brown Trucking Implements Comdata’s Fleet Payment Solutions and Cardless Technology

Brentwood, Tenn. — May 21, 2013 – Comdata Corporation, a recognized leader in payment innovation, has been selected by Brown Trucking Company to provide fleet payment solutions. Brown Trucking, a subsidiary of Brown Integrated Logistics, is a leading carrier with more than 1,000 trucks, headquartered in Lithonia, Georgia.

“We were searching for a provider who could offer all the solutions that we need to improve the efficiency of our business,?? said Brian Kinsey, chief executive officer, Brown Integrated Logistics. “While our primary concern was a fuel card, we were looking for a partner who also has the potential to help us administer terminal fuel, permits, fuel tax, and even purchasing and travel expenses as needed. Comdata’s experience and track record of innovation in the transportation industry fit that bill.??

Brown Trucking has implemented Comdata’s proprietary card program to manage their fuel spend. The company has also equipped their vehicles with Comdata SmartQ cardless technology. SmartQ, which uses radio-frequency identification to automate the fueling process and reduce the risk of fraud, is available at merchant locations nationwide. Brown is also using this technology to streamline purchases at their terminal locations.

“Comdata is excited to work with Brown Trucking,?? said Randy Morgan, executive vice president, Comdata. “As a company, we are committed to delivering flexible payment solutions to the industry, and working with Brown to quickly implement a robust cardless program helps us do just that.??
