ESCORT Introduces New "StickyCup" Windshield Mount Detector Accessory

Bracket mount works with category leading radar and laser detectors to improve max performance of adhesion

WEST CHESTER, OH--May 15, 2013: ESCORT Inc. (ESCORTinc.com), designer of the world's best radar detector, today announced the release of its new windshield mount detector accessory fittingly named "StickyCup." The new StickyCup is a full-featured bracket mount that includes a semi-sticky gel ring on the cup surface that improves cohesion and detector support on the windshield.

StickyCup works with ESCORT's category leading products including the award-winning PASSORT 9500ix radar detector, ESCORT REDLiNE, PASSPORT 8500 series and select BELTRONICS models.

StickyCup is officially available direct from the ESCORT store beginning today.

The StickyCup windshield mount gel ring helps the StickyCup provide dramatically improved performance by filling in unseen but otherwise potentially destructive imperfections on the windshield mounting surface. With the gaps eliminated, StickyCup provides significantly greater surface adhesion and attachment force to the windshield. The result is improved holding capacity over a wider temperature ranges.

StickyCup is easy to use and fits all grades and slopes of automotive windshield glass. The new mount includes a rotating knob that adjusts the angle of the StickyCup bracket to perfectly match the pitch of the driver's windshield. Once set, the mount permanently mirrors with the windshield slope and is always ready to use.

Backwards compatible, ESCORT and BELTRONICS radar detectors are designed with a custom slot that accepts the StickyCup bracket support arm for mounting. Once at their destination, the driver removes the radar detector via the quick release button. The StickyCup can then be easily removed from the windshield.

The new StickyCup retails for $24.95 and is now available direct from ESCORT.
