DEARBORN, MI--May 8, 2013:
Ford adding 2,000-plus jobs at Kansas City Assembly
Ford will add more than 2,000 jobs at Kansas City Assembly Plant, where

jobs to meet surging demand for F-150 and the planned production of the
all-new Ford Transit.
Ford U.S. sales up 18 percent
Ford sales for April climbed 18 percent, with gains across the
portfolio -- cars were up 21 percent, and utilities and trucks
both were up 16 percent. Retail sales were up 27 percent. Fusion continues
its strong run with best-ever April sales of 26,722 cars -- a
24 percent increase over record year-ago levels.
