SLOUGH, UNITED KINGDOM – Marc 20,2013: Honda (UK) has appointed Phil Webb as its new Head of Dealer Development, effective from 1st April. Phil fills the seat recently vacated by Nick Campolucci who moved to head up Honda’s Motorcycle Division. In his new role Phil Webb will be responsible for the development of Honda’s dealer network, franchising, standards, profitability and retail experience of the company’s three product ranges – Cars, Motorcycles and Power Equipment.

Phil moves into his new role from the position of Head of Power Equipment where he has been in charge of the Sales operation for four areas: Lawn + Garden, Energy, Marine and All Terrain Vehicles, for the past 3 years.

Phil joined Honda in 1997 as an Area Operations Manager for Honda Finance Europe before moving to Honda Power Equipment as Area Sales Manager for Energy in 2005, where he took sole responsibility for Honda’s Energy business in the UK. In early 2008, Phil took a role in National Sales managing six Area Managers covering the Honda (UK) Dealer Network for Lawn + Garden and Energy, before he was promoted to Head of Power Equipment in 2010.

Phil Webb commented; “Nick has done a fantastic job over the past year in strengthening Honda’s relationship with our dealer network, improving their return on investment and by looking to share best practice. I’m very much looking forward to taking on this new challenge, my experience in the finance and power equipment businesses should further enhance the sharing of best practice across the whole network.”

Phil’s successor as Head of Power Equipment will be announced in the next few weeks
