VICTORIA – Mar 5, 2013: Fiat Chrysler Group is well on its way to recording its strongest ever quarter for its Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands with a February sales tally of 2,144 units (up 34.9 per cent on 2012) taking its total YTD sales to 4,050 – up 44.7 per cent on the same time last year.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee was again the best seller across the Group with 970 retails – more than double its February 2012 sales.

The Chrysler 300 and Dodge Nitro were also standouts in February.

Clyde Campbell, President and CEO of Fiat Chrysler Group Australia, maintains the Group’s sales success is just the beginning in a year with more than 20 new models in the pipeline.

“The customer interest we are currently experiencing in our brands is testament to the hard work and dedication of the Fiat Chrysler team. We have the right products at the right price and are working hard to ensure the value equation, when compared to our competitors, always measures up.

“This year we will add more than 20 new models to our product portfolio across the Jeep, Chrysler, Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Abarth brands, offering our customers more choice than ever before,” said Mr Campbell.

Globally, Chrysler Group LLC reported US sales of 139,015 units in February, a four per cent increase on 2012 (133,521 units) and the Group’s best February sales since 2008.
