Hyundai Teams With Storm Model Management In Nationwide Talent Search #IAMSTORM

HIGH WYCOMBE, UNITED KINGDOM – Feb 13,2013: Hyundai has partnered with Storm Model Management in an innovative new talent competition and web series #IAMSTORM

Launching today, #IAMSTORM will offer aspiring models the opportunity to enter the competition by uploading their details via a dedicated Facebook application. Over a series of social media votes, the general public can voice their opinions along with the judging panel. Entrants will eventually be narrowed down to six finalists, before two winners – one male and one female – will be announced as the new faces of Storm Models.

The #IAMSTORM web series will include a range of short videos, including interviews with finalists and top models from Storm, exclusive footage shot behind the scenes in the agency, including during London Fashion Week, as well as interviews with the judges. The series will be hosted on Storm’s website, YouTube and social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr.

The Facebook application and accompanying web series documenting the search will be powered by Hyundai, with the New Generation Hyundai Santa Fe featuring across the campaign.

The #IAMSTORM competition commences with an ‘open round’ where entrants upload photos and details to the dedicated Facebook application. Models that receive more than 20 votes will automatically go into the next round, where an expert panel made up of Storm talent, management and scouts will short-list a final 20 models. A combination of social media votes and judging will chose the final six before one male and one female model are chosen as winners.
