Chrysler Group LLC extends partnership with Las Vegas Motor Speedway

LAS VEGAS--Jan. 29, 2013: Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Chrysler Group LLC are expanding a long-running agreement that keeps the U.S.-based multinational automaker firmly entrenched in American motorsports. As part of the partnership, Dodge will return as the Official Vehicle of Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2013.

"We are pleased to continue our longstanding partnership with Dodge that began in 2001, and in 2013 we'll be expanding our relationship that will now include various Chrysler Group brands including SRT (Street and Racing Technology) and Ram Truck," said LVMS president Chris Powell. "We're excited that these vehicles will receive prominent exposure throughout all of our speedway's racing venues. This agreement, along with Brad Keselowski's winning Dodge's first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title since 1975, provides great momentum for both Chrysler Group and LVMS as we head into the new year."

Chrysler Group LLC began sponsoring the annual NASCAR Cup Series race at LVMS in 2001. LVMS and hosted a major media ride-and-drive for the re-launch of the Dodge Dart this year. Various Chrysler Group brands have been integrated throughout many events at LVMS over the years including Mopars at the Strip and a heavy Dodge involvement in this year's Global Rallycross event.
