Special Motorsports Event - MAC Group Clarifies Position Regarding 2013 Mille Miglia

Genova, Jan. 212, 2013: Following the queries from race entrants and Clients regarding our involvement in 2013 Mille Miglia, the MAC Group considers its duty to clarify its engagement and announces not to have reached an agreement to support the 1000 Miglia srl organizing the 2013 Mille Miglia.

Negotiations, started many months back, did not go through due to disagreeing valuations regarding the necessary commitment to realise the ‘World's Greatest Road Race’. Later in December MAC Group was requested to advise for the research of sponsors as well as to act as supervisor and guarantor of the organization by a third party. The proposal was rejected by the MAC Group: “Circumstances would not allow us to guarantee the organizational standards we have been granting to our clients so far” stated Sandro and Paolo Binelli, respectively Chairman and CEO of the MAC Group.
