Seat Toledo Stars In Marie Curie Cancer Care Carols In The City

MILTON KEYNES, UNITED KINGDOM – Dec 19, 2012: The new SEAT Toledo proved its worth as high class, high practicality people mover when it was used to transport celebrities and VIPs to the Marie Curie Carols in the City concert this month.

The event, held in London’s stunning and historic Southwark Cathedral, was held to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care – and it succeeded, raising £45,000 and counting with donations still being taken at www.mariecurie.org.uk.

Hosted by BBC newsreader Sophie Raworth, the 6 December concert captured the spirit of Christmas with performances byworld famous soprano Hayley Westenra, London choir Fever Pitch, and festive readings from celebrities including Californication and Truman Show star Natascha McElhone, BAFTA nominated actor Phil Davis and Lark Rise To Candleford actress Olivia Hallina.

Of course, celebrities require transportation in comfort and style, but instead of supplying Marie Curie with the obvious VIP choice from the SEAT model range – the multi-award winning Alhambra – SEAT donated something a little more leftfield.
