Holden Corporate Affairs Update
![]() |
SYDNEY – Dec 19, 2012: Due to Holden’s major product launch activity and increased government relations focus in 2013 there will be some changes in the Holden Corporate Affairs structure. Effective immediately Craig Cheetham will assume the role of Director Product Launch Communications and Matt Hobbs will assume the role of Director Government and Corporate Affairs.
Craig’s new role has been created to facilitate a single focus during one of our busiest launch periods ever; from February through to August, we have a number of major products to take to market, each requiring multifaceted campaigns across all media platforms. Each of these programs is critical to our success in 2013 and beyond. Craig's new role will ensure consistent product messaging across all functions and allow for a closer, more proactive engagement with product media.
Given the natural synergies created by our current government relations activities and corporate communications, Matt Hobbs will assume the responsibility for all non-product related media as well as the day to day running of the Corporate Affairs department. He will retain his current responsibilities of government relations, internal communications and community engagement.
