Jeep Australia Gets Festive with Vision Australia's Carols by CandlelightZ Sponsorship

SYDNEY – Dec 11, 2012: Jeep Australia, part of the Fiat Chrysler Group, announced today the company will continue its support of Vision Australia’s Carols by CandlelightŽ as the event’s official automotive partner for the 2012 show. A long standing Melbourne tradition, Jeep is proud to be involved for the second year running in a symbolic event that brings the community together to celebrate Christmas.

Sam Tabart, Director of Marketing at Fiat Chrysler Group, confirmed the automotive partnership as an important component in the Jeep sponsorship portfolio.

“We’ve aligned Fiat Chrysler Group’s brands with some of the nation’s leading sporting events, and we’re thrilled to extend the iconic Jeep brand beyond the sporting realm to one of Melbourne’s beloved family traditions.

“Carols by CandlelightŽ is definitely one of the highlights on Melbourne’s events calendar. It’s an important event which raises money and awareness for a very worthy cause. Jeep is delighted to be involved and we’re all looking forward to another great event”, said Tabart.

Stars of the 2012 Australia’s Carols by CandlelightŽ who include Carols’ ambassador and “The Voice” contestant Rachel Leahcar, favourites Denis Walter and Marina Prior, hosts Karl Stevanovic and Lisa Wilkinson and one of Australia’s favourite personalities, Shane Jacobson, along with VIPs and officials, will be transported to and from the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in a fleet of Jeep and Chrysler vehicles.

The Jeep brand is part of the successful Fiat Chrysler Australia group, which imports and markets a wide range of vehicles in the Australian market, including the Fiat, Fiat Commercial, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Abarth, SRT and Mopar brands.
