Hyundai - On Course for the 2012 Talisker Australian Masters

SYDNEY – Nov 15, 2012: Hyundai Motor Company Australia will once again partner with Australia’s premier golf Tournament, the 2012 Talisker Masters, marking the third anniversary of their patronage agreement. Played on the world renowned Kingston Heath Golf Course in Melbourne, Victoria the tournament will be in action from 15th-18th November.

As an ‘Official Associate Partner’ and supplier of the ‘Official Car of the Tournament’, Hyundai will showcase the sophisticated i40 and i40 Tourer alongside the all-new Santa Fe as the flagship vehicles of the sponsorship.

Twenty-five vehicles adorned with Australian Masters decals will operate as the official event fleet chauffeuring players, coaches, commentators, VIPs and officials around Melbourne throughout the tournament period.

As the foremost Australian golfing tournament the Australian Masters consistently attracts the world’s leading players. Headlining the 2012 field is Australian No.1 and world No.7 Adam Scott, former US Open Champion and World No.12 Graeme McDowell and defending champion Ian Poulter who will join leading Australian and international players for the four day tournament.

A hole-in-one competition will be in place on the final day of the tournament, with the first professional golfer to land a hole-in-one on the 15th hole driving home in a Hyundai i40 Premium sedan.
