DEARBORN, MI--Oct. 31, 2012:
Ford takes center stage with the hottest stars in Vegas
Ford Mustang and F-Series pickups are officially the "Hottest Car and
Truck" at the 2012 SEMA show in Las Vegas,
with more Ford vehicles on display than any other car or truck
-- 70 in all, from classic 1930s hot rods to the newest
products. The SEMA Award recognizes the most popular vehicles members of
the Specialty Equipment Market Association feature in this weeklong trade
show.
Return of a legend: Iconic Ford Coupe body shell now available
One of the most cherished classic cars of the pre-World War II and hot
rod era -- the 1940 Ford Coupe -- is the latest
addition to Ford's growing stable of officially licensed all-steel
reproduction car bodies.
Ford, U of M researchers fight microbes in new vehicles
We can't see them, but we are surrounded by microorganisms that can
have undesirable effects on the surfaces around us. Ford researchers have
now found ways to reduce such microscopic organisms as mold and mildew in
cars and trucks.
Ford Police Interceptors sweep the competition
Ford's new Police Interceptor was best-in-class in this year's
performance tests conducted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The entire portfolio of Police Interceptor sedan and utility vehicles
proved to the public and law enforcement industry that Ford delivers
purpose-built police vehicles.
