Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Named on Great Place to Work 2012 Best Small & Medium Workplaces List

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI--Oct. 31, 2012:  For the first time in the company's history, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC was named by Great Place to Work® as one of the best small and medium workplaces in the United States on their annual Best Small and Medium Workplaces list, to be published by Fortune Magazine in November.

Ranked No. 24, the list recognizes companies that have exceptional workplace cultures. Now in its ninth year, the competition is divided into two categories, Small (50-250 employees) and Medium-sized companies (251-999 employees).

Mercedes-Benz Financial Services was selected among hundreds of companies vying for a place on the list this year. Applicant companies opt to participate in the selection process, which includes an employee survey and an in-depth questionnaire about their programs and company practices. Great Place to Work® then evaluates each application using its unique methodology based on five dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.

At a town hall meeting this week of all U.S. employees here and broadcast to Fort Worth, TX, and Fort Mill, SC, Peter Zieringer, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC, announced the news, held up the award and said it was the highlight of a very successful year for the company.
