Hyundai appoints John Elsworth as Chief Operating Officer

SYDNEY – Oct 19, 2012: Hyundai Motor Company Australia (HMCA) is pleased to announce the appointment of John Elsworth to the new position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). John will report to HMCA’s Chief Executive Officer, Edward Lee.

John joins Hyundai from Holden where he held the position of Executive Director, Sales, Marketing and Aftersales. John has spent his entire automotive career at Holden.

“I am delighted to welcome John to our organisation,” said Mr Lee. “His appointment reflects Hyundai’s intention to maintain its growth and success in the Australian market.”

John will join HMCA on Monday 5 November.
