Infiniti Announces New Melbourne Retail Centre
MELBOURNE – Oct 17, 2012: Infiniti Cars Australia today announced a new retail partner for the city of Melbourne.
The performance luxury car manufacturer from Japan has selected Victoria’s Preston Motors Group as its retail representative in Melbourne.
The highly experienced automotive retail group will soon open Infiniti Centre Brighton; a stunning showroom designed according to Infiniti’s global IREDI architectural standards.
Infiniti Centre Brighton will stand adjacent to Prestons’ Porsche showroom on the busy Nepean Highway.
According to Infiniti Cars Australia General Manager, Kevin Snell, Infiniti’s newest retail destination in Brighton puts the luxury marque in the right hands and in the right location.
“Appointing Preston Motors Group as our first operational Retail Partner in Melbourne is a great step forward for our brand,” he said.
“Positioning Infiniti in one of Australia’s most important luxury automotive retail precincts will expose our brand and range of exciting cars to a large and important customer and audience.”
John Bradley, CEO of Preston Motors Group, is thrilled to have Australia’s newest performance luxury brand in his stable.

Preston Motors Group joins Infiniti’s other two official retail centres, located in Sydney with Suttons Motors Group and Brisbane with national automotive group A.P. Eagers.These three Infiniti Retail Centres are the first of a number planned across the country. Infiniti Cars Australia is currently considering expressions of interest for official Retail Centres in Perth and Adelaide. More are planned.
Preston Motors Group celebrates its centenary this year. The highly experienced automotive group is one of Australia’s longest running and has built an enviable reputation for success since its origins days as the Preston Carrying Company in 1912.
Infiniti made its official Australian debut in September. The company’s Australian division has released two of its 2012 Australian model range, the Infiniti FX performance crossover and the Infiniti M sedan. This December the company will release two more exciting sports models, the Infiniti G coupe and the Infiniti G convertible.
Later next year will see the arrival of the all-new Infiniti G sedan, which is scheduled to make its world premiere at the Detroit Motor Show in January.
