Hyundai Aces Hopman Cup Sponsorship

SYDNEY – Oct 10, 2012: The International Tennis Federation (ITF) and Hyundai Motor Company Australia have announced the automotive manufacturer’s highly successful naming rights partnership with the Hyundai Hopman Cup will continue.

Hyundai Motor Company Australia has been a proud sponsor of the Hyundai Hopman Cup tennis tournament since its inception in 1988 and official tournament ‘Title Sponsor’ since 1998, making it one of the country’s longest and most successful sports title sponsorships. “ With this commitment we will not only continue our investment in tennis, but will begin a new relationship with the International Tennis Federation,” said Hyundai Motor Company Australia Chief Executive Officer, Edward Lee. “We look forward to sharing the excitement and success of this venture with them, and the legion of tennis fans across the country.”

The 2012/13 Hyundai Hopman Cup will see the tournament move to a striking new location, the brand new Perth Arena, and it will be the first major sporting event to take place at the facility.

The Hyundai Hopman Cup XXIV is in action from 29th December 2012 through to 5th January 2014 at Perth Arena, Perth.
