Jupiter, Oct. 3, 2012: Monster trucks will battle against one another racing down the drag strip at Palm Beach International Raceway’s Thunder Jam on Saturday October 6th. Race fans and families alike will witness a full line up in the motorsport show featuring the fastest monster truck in the world, Grave Digger.

Standing nearly 12 feet tall with 66 inch tall, 44 inch wide tires and weighing in at nearly 12,000 pounds, Gave Digger is one of the most popular race machines on earth. On October 6, Grave Digger will use its 2,000 horsepower Chevy Big Block engine to make a full quarter-mile pass against the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle during Thunder Jam at Palm Beach International Raceway.

“With the world’s best known Monster Trucks competing for supremacy on our track, Thunder Jam will host the biggest and baddest of motorsport vehicles here at Palm Beach International Raceway,” says Jason Rittenberry, President & CEO of Palm Beach International Raceway.

In addition to the colossal bragging rights that are at stake for these top monster trucks, south Florida race fans will also see the battle of jet trains, “Cannonball Express” and “Chattanooga Choo-Choo” in a showdown of two of the fastest race machines on earth. These two jet-propelled dragsters produce 10-foot flames and nearly 15,000 horsepower as they approach the 300 mile-per-hour barrier and will make multiple passes throughout the night.

With a full line up for the night, the Chevy Rebellion Wheelstander will race on two-wheels and pro-mods will take to the track at high speed.
