Suzuki - Moving On Up

MILTON KEYNES, UNITED KINGDOM – Oct 3, 2012: Suzuki GB PLC is pleased to announce another big leap in sales this year with impressive third Quarter registrations of 8,200 units, a 30 per cent increase over the same period in 2011. September registration figures were also particularly strong at 5,859 units and sales have recently overtaken last year’s full year figure of 20,967 by 663 units and with almost three months still to run.

Suzuki is currently running at 130 per cent of target and the projection is to reach 25,000 units for full year 2012 – an increase of almost 5,000 cars compared to last year.

Reasons for the sharp increase in sales include Have to have it Suzuki’s impactful and humorous TV campaign for its range together with positive response from the extended VAT free offers. There is also evidence of new customers downsizing to Suzuki’s small, inexpensive to own and fun to drive cars.
