This technology helps enable Fusion Hybrid to deliver 47 mpg city and 47 mpg highway ratings that combine for 47 mpg overall. The fuel economy connection may not be obvious, but the technology allows Ford engineers to tune the car for more fuel-efficient operation.

In fact, 91 percent of couples have taken road trips together, and 84 percent agree the experience strengthened their relationship, according to a new survey of more than 1,000 couples released by Your Tango collaborating with Ford.
