Johnson Controls' leading automotive suppliers honored during 17th annual North American Supplier Performance Awards ceremony

Top-performing auto suppliers acknowledged for commitment to excellence in 2012
PLYMOUTH, MI--Sept. 26, 2012: Thirty-four automotivesuppliers were honored by Johnson Controls, a global diversified company in the building and automotive industries, for their leadership and commitment to the Automotive Experience business at the company's 17th annual North American Supplier Performance Awards ceremony. The event was recently held at The Inn at St. John's in Plymouth, Mich.
"The dedication of our suppliers is integral to our success as a global automotive leader," said Jim Bos, vice president of purchasing, North America, for Johnson Controls' Automotive Experience business. "The awards provide an opportunity for us to thank our supplier base for their leadership and commitment to excellence throughout the year."
Johnson Controls' North American Supplier Performance Awards are presented for top performance in the following key business areas: quality; cost; logistics; development; technology; and service. This year, outstanding performance by the company's supply base was recognized on four levels -- platinum, gold, silver and bronze.
