Renault Kangoo Delivers Fine Food Fare and $2000 Rebate to Trade Show Buyers
MELBOURNE – Sept 11, 2012: A specially prepared Renault Kangoo is on the menu at the Fine Food Australia exhibition in Melbourne from 10-14 September.
Installed into the load compartment of the burgundy Renault Kangoo petrol auto van is an 850-litre Waeco CF 850 fridge containing delicious Adriano Zumbo ‘Kangarons’ created especially for the event.
Each day, Patissier Adriano, who uses a brace of Renault Trafic vans in Sydney, will create a different, special macaron, 4,000 of which will be available to visitors over the course of the show. He will also be demonstrating his macaron-creating talents twice daily, live on stage on the Renault stand.
Renault has also created its own special masterpiece for trade visitors to the show. If visitors register their interest in any Renault LCV on special iPad stations on the Renault stand, and then go on to buy a Renault LCV before December 31, 2012, they will benefit from a $2,000 factory rebate. It’s like an early Christmas present from Renault.
The Kangoo display vehicle also features a glazed sliding door on each side, allowing greater loading and unloading flexibility. It is also fitted with satellite navigation and parking sensors. The right-hand side doors and the glazing are standard factory options.
The display vehicle is special in another way, too, with a unique Renault girafon opening rear roof panel, which allows ultra bulky or tall loads to be carried. This is the first of its type to be brought to Australia in the current Kangoo generation, (although there are no plans to actually transport kangaroo or giraffe in a vehicle of this type, as they would undoubtedly eat all the ‘Kangarons’).
Also on show in the entrance hall of the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre is one of the new generation Renault Master large vans, launched earlier in the year, and already selling up a storm, as well as a new Mйgane Renault Sport 265 Trophy 8:08 special edition, launched last month.
“We think the Renault range of LCVs is ideally suited to the fine food community in Australia,” says Lyndon Healey, Renault LCV Brand Manager.
“The Renault range of business vehicles is economical to run, has long service intervals and a 200,000 km or three year factory warranty. Not only that, they are exceptionally comfortable, quiet and easy to drive and park by drivers of all types, from kitchen hands to master chefs.
“In addition, we currently have the LCV range at 2.9 percent interest via Renault Financial Services, and we are offering a $2,000 rebate for show trade visitors who register their interest on our special iPads and then go on to buy a vehicle before the end of the year,” he says.
The Renault Kangoo, ‘Kangarons’, Adriano Zumbo and the iPads are all located on the Renault stand HJ44. The hot tip is the chocolate ‘Kangaron’ is especially special.
