Raw-Edged V-belts from ContiTech Transmit More Power

AUTO CENTRAL – August 27, 2012: The raw-edged V-belts from the ContiTech Power Transmission Group now transmit even more power. Thanks to a new production process, the company has increased the performance of the CONTI-V FO-ADVANCE heavy-duty V-belts by up to 15 percent. The belts realize drive solutions in many industrial applications: In machine and systems constructions, ventilation technology as well as in pumps and compressors.

With the new belts, the drives will be more cost-efficient. "We are able to transmit more power using the same space or the same power in a smaller installation space," explains Dirk Bartsch-Kuszewski, head of application engineering at the ContiTech Power Transmission Group. Other advantages: The belts show even better consistency in sets, they enter the pulley very precisely and generally run more smoothly.
