DEARBORN, MI--Aug. 15, 2012:
Ford speeds up electrification
Ford is adding new green jobs, doubling its battery-testing
capabilities and speeding electrified vehicles to market by at least 25
percent. The company now has more than 1,000 engineers working on
electrification -- its highest number ever. And the newly
dedicated Advanced Electrification Center means Ford is creating even more
fuel-efficient vehicle choices for its customers.
Ford dealers look to the SHOWCASE app
For most people, buying a new vehicle is the second-biggest purchase
they make after their home, so ensuring the process is as easy and
stress-free as possible is critical to customers being satisfied. The new
SHOWCASE app Ford sales associates are using with the Apple
iPad® is helping them find just the right car for their
customers faster than ever.
