LONGMONT, CO--July 31, 2012: During the London 2012 Summer Olympics, one of the vehicles people will see is an Audi A1 e-tron dressed in German colors and propelled by the efficient power of an UQM Technologies, Inc. (NYSE MKT: UQM) electric drive system.

Audi, a partner of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) and the National Paralympic Committee Germany (DBS), presented the Olympic squad with an Audi A1 e-tron in German colors. The Audi A1 e-tron is an electric car with a range extender. The vehicle is electric drive system uses a UQM PowerPhase Select® 125 electric motor and controller. The A1 will be used as an exhibition car and to reinforce the shuttle service between the German House and the MS Deutschland cruise ship, which Audi will equip with a total of 60 vehicles.
