LONDON – July 24, 2012: Visitors to the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show (23 – 26 July) at Builth Wells will witness the launch of this year’s Fferm Ffactor – the hit S4C television show that aims to find the best farming talent in Wales – as well as the prize that will be awarded to the eventual winner: a brand-new Isuzu D-Max pick-up.

The new series of the hugely popular Fferm Ffactor, which will be broadcast in October 2012, will be launched with a pre-series challenge at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show. Visitors will have the chance to meet the 10 shortlisted challengers who will battle it out through the eight-week series to win the prize Isuzu D-Max Yukon.

William Brown, General Manager, at Isuzu UK commented: “Fferm Ffactor is one of the most popular TV programmes in Wales and Isuzu UK is very proud to be playing such a central part in this year’s series – concluding with the winner taking home an all-new Isuzu D-Max. I wish each of these 10 farming industry ambassadors the very best of luck.”

Winner of the 2011 competition, Malcolm Davies from the Llyn Peninsula, commented ahead of the start of this year’s series: “It was such a privilege to win Fferm Ffactor 2011 and bring the accolade to northern Wales for the first time,” said Davies. “I learnt so much in the competition last year and the prize – an Isuzu pick-up – has proved an incredibly valuable workhorse. This year’s competition looks set to be the toughest yet and I send my best wishes to all the competitors ahead of the series.”
